416 - Toronto is the fourth largest city in North America with a GTA population over six million people. When the Covid pandemic hit in early Spring the city effectively shut down. The once thriving and vast network of unique neighbourhoods were suddenly shrouded in an uneasy silence. People were sequestered in their homes and apartments and there was a palatable uncertainty about what the future would hold. There was also a sense of reflection and the welcome addition of the one commodity that people complained they never had - time -
Time to spend with family. Time to consider and reflect on lives lived and what paths taken. The pandemic lockdown provided an opportunity for people to think about their place in this moment in time.
